Cindy asked me to post this message about the Eden House's upcoming move. This message does not give out the address. You need to email Cindy for that wonderful info.
Come and Have a Couples Encounter with us
Starting on 3rd and 4th of April ….
We will still be at the old EH this weekend the 27th and 28th so come and say good-bye to the old place…. I’m sorry but the trampoline will not fit in the new place so it’s your last chance!!!! We may put it in the yard. Ask James he in charge of that part of the move (he loves me!).
OK !!!! This is a form email that I’m sending back to make sure I don’t mess it up typing it over and over Hey we all know I am the TYPO Queen, and long winded….!
Well we found a GREAT new place even with the time restrictions of getting out of our old lease. It’s the best of both worlds. It’s not a commercial place it’s a house… (Keep reading you people that wanted a commercial place.) This is great, we have a lot more possibilities in a house…. It is also right on the edge of that commercial zone, for all of you who wanted commercial, (see we can all win if we try hard enough... only a little compromise needed). It works out to be what we “all” wanted and we should not be bothering anyone because it’s a really busy area (if we all play like grown-ups). The house to the north has people in it. Both houses to the south are empty and / or abandoned. The next lot is just that, an empty lot (it looks like people park there sometimes). That empty lot is the corner lot, so we have all the way around the corner to park without bugging anyone. Across the street from the vacant lot is a dentist office (I don’t think we have to worry about them being there at night). Across the street from us to the east is a BIG and busy street, then a office building and a bank. {Please don’t park in front of homes that people live in}. Behind us, or actually west of us is a house with a big back yard that should buffer any reasonable sound. Behind us is that pesky house of people to the north . They seem like really cool people and have at least two dogs so I think we will be OK there also. Whew! I think I covered it all !!!!!
We are just down the road (two blocks maybe, if that) from Dan’s (now we can get BEER!), and two shopping centers where we could shuttle people if you want. We also have about three parking spaces in the drive way, a circle dive (gravel) that parks three cars, and two spaces in the front. I think parking is not going to be a problem. The house also sets sideways on the lot for added privacy from the street.
About the House… There is this tiny, tiny garage that we are going to make into the smoke shack for you smokers, so we won’t be parking in it. There are two bathrooms, one up and one down, I was kinda hoping for three but we can’t get greedy here, at least I only have to clean 2… (A plus side to everything!) 5 bedrooms (Three up and two down), and a big family room. There is a great open space upstairs (with vaulted ceilings) that is the kitchen, dining room and living room… This area is the BEST part about this house, with all that open space, we won’t feel closed in. (I’ll try to get a photo on the website soon) There is a fireplace in the living room upstairs, fans in the kitchen and dinning area, all hardwood & tile upstairs and a kind of white shagish carpet in all the downstairs (yes, this means you have to be careful, no red drinks downstairs). Everything else I can get out. We have a few area carpets so I think the hardwood will work out wonderful. The house is not all that updated but really nice and 100x’s better than a warehouse. They wanted a touch too much rent for what we got, (only like $100.00) but considering all the plusses we think it’s the best spot for us. With its a quarter acre lot we have room to spare. “Private parties” in your home carry a lot of win, win ideas and perks. Also it’s dammed easy to find and will actually work on GPS (I’m 99% sure anyway).
Hope to see you there soon….
